Our immigration specialist lawyers at ZD Legal can comfortably lodge an online Partner Visa application in a timely manner for you.
When applying under this category, there are two (2) types of Visas you should be aware of:
(a) Temporary Partner Visas
This visa lets the de facto partner or spouse of an Australian citizen, Australian permanent resident or eligible New Zealand citizen live in Australia temporarily.
This visa is temporary and not long-term but leads directly to the Permanent Partner Visa (subclass 801).
(b) Permanent Partner Visas
This visa lets the de facto partner or spouse of an Australian citizen, Australian permanent resident or eligible New Zealand citizen live in Australia permanently.
Typically, you must hold a Temporary Partner Visa to be eligible for a Permanent Partner Visa (subclass 820).
One of the largest factors that cause extensive delays in the application process is the significant amount of evidence needed to satisfy that the relationship is genuine and ongoing.
